Ireland has already announced its squad for the upcoming ICC T20 Men’s World Cup, which is held by Oman and UAE.

Under the captaincy of Andrew Balbirnie, team Ireland is ready for their first victory of the tournament as Ireland has never won the T20 World Cup.

Ireland had only reached the Super 8s in 2009. As of T20 World Cup 2021, Ireland is placed in Group A alongside teams Namibia, Netherlands, and Sri Lanka.

Ireland faced Group A qualifying fixtures

against the Netherlands on the 18th of October in Abu Dhabi,

against Sri Lanka on the 20th of October in Abu Dhabi,

and against Namibia on the 22nd of October in Sharjah.
