Domestic Career

Steve Smith was selected for the 2008 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. The same year, he made his first-class debut against Western Australia. He made his Twenty20 cricket debut on 1 January 2008 playing for the New South Wales in the 2008 Big Bash competition.
