Margaret Cassidy Lawson (born August 12, 1980) is an American actress best known for her role as Detective Juliet “Jules” O’Hara on the Psych television show.
From 2018 to 2019, she held the recurring role of Nathalie Flynn in the third and final season of Fox’s Lethal Weapon.

Early Life and Career
Born on 12th August, 1980 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA to Mike and Judy Lawson, Maggie has 2 brothers. Her father is a hotel manager and her mother is a homemaker.

Nick and Chris are her 2 brothers.

Career
Lawson began her career at the age of 8 in local community plays and dinner shows. She then became a youth television host at the WDRB Fox 41 Kid’s Club in Louisville and moved to Los Angeles to become her first pilot at age 15.
In 2011, Lawson briefly returned to the theater to star in the play Greedy, directed by James Roday, who performed for a few weekends in Los Angeles.
Lawson starred in various sitcoms such as Cybill, Boy Meets World, and Home Improvement early in her career in leading and supporting roles.

She has also made appearances in television series such as Smallville and Fear Itself, and starred in Its All Relative and Crumbs.
For Disney Channel, Lawson played a dual role in Model Behavior with Justin Timberlake, and in the 2002 season of Nancy Drew in the lead role.
Other movie credits include Pleasantville, Nice Guys Sleep Alone, and Cleaner. From 2006 to 2014, Lawson starred in the original American Network series, Psych, as Detective Juliet OHara.

Also for Netflix, Lawson played the recurring lead role of Christa in the second and third seasons of the horror comedy series Santa Clarita Diet as well as the Spivak series in 2018.
For the Hallmark Channel, Lawson played the role starring in My Favorite Wedding and Christmas again in 2017, Our Story and Christmas Coming to Evergreen: Tidings of Joy in 2019.
Most recently, Lawson played Dr. Natalie Flynn in Lethal Weapon’s fifth season 3 and featured in Treehouse, the sixth episode of Hulu’s monthly horror anthology Into The Dark.
In 2020, she plays Kay, the female lead opposite Jason Biggs, in the FOX Outmished comedy series, “about a blue-collar couple […] from South Jersey trying to make a living and ‘raising four youngsters, three of whom turned out to be certified geniuses.
