Hardik Pandya full name is Hardik Himanshu Pandya. He was born on 11th October 1993 in choryasi, surat, Gujarat. His nickname is Harry. His father’s name is Himanshu Pandya and his mother’s name is Nalini Pandya. Along with Hardik, he also has a brother named Krunal.
When Hardik was 5 years old, his father shifted to Vadodara winding up his small car finance business in Surat. In Vadodara, his father enrolled both of his sons to Kiran more’s Cricket Academy. His educational qualification is 9th standard which he does from MK High School, Baroda. When he was in 9th standard he dragged all his focus on his cricket career. He was a very expressive child who always liked to express his emotions.
Apart from his cricket performance Hardik is also known for his lavish lifestyle.He has a lavish penthouse of approx. 6000 square feet in his hometown Vadodara, Gujarat. Coming to his marital status, he is engaged to the famous serbian actress and model Natasa Stankovic on 1st January 2020. In the same year in July 30, their first child, was born. Hardik career as a Cricketer
Till he was at the age of 18 he was a leg spinner but at the insistence of the Baroda coach Sanath Kumar, he turned to fast bowling.
In a local league match in Baroda his team was short of one fast bowler then Kiran more one of former Indian cricketer advised him to play as a fast bowler, and he performed very well by taking 7 wickets in that match. After this matched he switched to medium-pacer from leg spinner.
Kiran more charged nothing for over 3 years and helped a lot in his cricket career. In an interview, he told that he was removed from the state age group because of his attitude issues as he was very expressive from his childhood.
He made his debut for Baroda against Mumbai in 2013 at Ahmedabad for Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy. He played an important role in winning Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2013. He played an unbeaten score of 86 for Baroda cricket team to a six wicket win over Vidarbha cricket.
Hardik began his IPL career in the year 2015. In 2015, he was selected in Mumbai Indians IPL team by John Wright at a base price of 10 lakh. After beating CSK by 6 wickets and getting Man of the Match for scoring 21 runs off 8 balls and grabbing 3 important catches for his team In 2015 season of IPL, he earned a spot in the Indian National Team.
Hardik Pandya was retained by Mumbai Indians in the 2018 IPL auction for a amount of Rs. 11 crores.
In the year 2016, he made his debut in Twenty20 International on 27 January against the Australian team in Adelaide. In the first International over he bowled 5 wides and went for 19 runs. But in the last 3 overs he took 2 wickets by only giving 18 runs.
In 2016, he has been part of India’s T20 WC squad against Bangladesh where he bowled the final over when Bangladesh needed two runs of the final three balls and made India win that match.
He made his One Day International(ODI) debut against New Zealand at Dharamshala on 16th October 2016. He was awarded Man of the Match on his debut match. Thus he became the 4th Indian to be named Man of the match on ODI debut. In 2017, champion trophy Hardik performance was praised through the complete cricketing global. Hardik was selected in the ODI XI of the year 2017 by Cricinfo.
In 2019, he was part of world cup squad which reached the semi-final of the tournament.
